Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sago
  • 2 cup palm sugar
  • few screwpine leaves
  • 2 cup water
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 cup yam steamed and diced
  • 1 cup yam steamed and mashed
  • 1 cup nuts

Directions:

  1. Cook sago in water until it becomes transparent .
  2. Drain and run in cold water . Set aside .
  3. Bring the 2 C water to bol . Add the leaves and the sugar .
  4. When dissolves , strain the syrup .
  5. Boil the syrup for 5 mins and add everythingelse .
  6. Serve HOT or cold
