Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine
  • 2 1/4 cups flour , sifted
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tsp water
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Cream butter, sugar, salt, vanilla, and water together. Beat in Flour a little at a time, until fully incorporated.
  2. Stir in nuts and chill.
  3. Form dough into balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until pale golden. While still hot roll in sifted powdered sugar.
