Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp water
  • 3 cups pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves

Directions:

  1. Beat egg white (at room temperature) and water at high speed of an electric mixer until foamy. Add pecans, stirring to coat.
  2. Combine sugar and remaining ingredients in a small bowl, and sprinkle over pecans; stir well.
  3. Spread pecans in a single layer on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring twice. Let cool.
