Texas Jalapeno Apple Pie

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F Spread jalapeno jelly into the bottom of pie shell.
  2. In a bowl, toss apples with lemon juice.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar.
  4. Sprinkle sugar mixture over apples, toss and spoon into pastry shell.
  5. Sprinkle jalapeno pepper over apples.
  6. For topping, combine sugar, flour and butter with a pastry blender to form crumbly mixture.
  7. Stir in grated cheese.
  8. Sprinkle over pie.
  9. Bake 45 minutes, or until golden.
