Spiced up Pecans

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp tabasco sauce
  • 3/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F
  2. Heat oil and butter in sauce pan on stove. Add remaining ingredients except nuts and salt. Blend well and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Add nuts and toss to coat well and evenly. Spread on baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, shaking a couple times. Salt the nuts.
  3. Let cool. Store in airtight container.
