Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in iron skillet.
  2. Add egg (egg must not cook), chopped dates, sugar. Cook five minutes, stirring CONSTANTLY.
  3. Add nuts, rice cereal and vanilla.
  4. Shape into balls and roll in coconut while mixture is still hot.
