Ingredients:

  • 1 cup. sugar
  • 3 tbsps. flour mixed with 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 cup. milk
  • 1/3 cup. melted butter
  • 1 cup. dates cut in small pieces
  • 1/2 cup. pecans
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients, add slightly beaten eggs, milk and butter, dates, pecans and vanilla.
  2. Place in greased pan 8 x 8.
  3. Bake at 350 for one hour.
  4. Serve slightly warm with whipped cream.
  5. Serves 9.
