Ingredients:

  • 2 or 3 fresh pears
  • 1/2 cup salad oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup nuts

Directions:

  1. Beat together oil and sugar.
  2. Add eggs 1 at a time.
  3. Add sour cream and vanilla.
  4. Sift all dry ingredients together and add to wet mixture.
  5. Blend well.
  6. Add nuts and pears.
  7. Put into 3 small loaf pans or 1 large.
  8. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes in small loaf pans.
  9. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes in large loaf pan.
