Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Peel and finely chop the onion, and mix well in a bowl with the minced beef, using a fork. Mix in the salt, pepper, herbs and sauce and bind together with a little egg. The mixture should be wet enough so the ingredients mould together, but not soggy. Divide this into two portions, shape each into a ball, and then flatten into a circle, about 3/4 in (2cm) thick.
  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Put the beefburgers carefully in the pan, and fry for 10-15 minutes, according to size, turning occasionally to cook both sides. Do not have the heat too high, as the beefburgers need to cook right through to the middle without burning the outside.
