Guilt Free Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients:

  • 4 bell peppers ( your choice of color , green stands better)
  • 1/2 cup rice
  • 1/2 lb hamburger
  • 1 larger white onion
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3 tbsp spn basil
  • 2 tbsp spn oregano
  • 2 tbsp spn chili powder
  • 2 tbsp spn paprika
  • 2 tbsp spn black pepper
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp spn garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup white cheese

Directions:

  1. Pre heat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. In a sauce pan fry onions and rice for about 5 minutes or until brown.
  3. Add water and cover for about ten minutes.
  4. In a large pan fry hamburger with one tbl spoon of all seasoning (garlic, chili powder, oregano, basil, paprika, pepper).
  5. When hamburger is almost ready add tomatoe and rice.
  6. Add the rest of the seasonings (exceot garlic powder).
  7. Cook for 5 minutes.
  8. Gut the peppers out and dust indies with garlic powder.
  9. Layer rice mixture with cheese while stuffing bell peppers.
  10. Close with the top and place on a cooking sheet standing upwards.
  11. Bake for 45 Minutes (or longer depending how dark you want your pepper).
  12. Take out of the oven and let cool.
  13. Enjoy.
