  1. In a large frying pan, melt the margarine over medium high heat.
  2. Add rice and onion and cook until onion is tender.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a low bubbling boil.
  4. Lower heat, cover (do not lift the lid while cooking) and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.
