Ingredients:

  • 1/8 cup of butter
  • 1/8 cup of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of molasses
  • 4 cups of spelt flour
  • 1 cup of oatmeal
  • 1 cup of bran
  • 1 1/2 tbsp honey
  • 3/4 cup can milk
  • 1 quart warm h2o

Directions:

  1. Make a thick cereal as per directions on box , mix 2 1/2 cups with butter, olive oil and molasses , set aside
  2. In a large bowl combine flours , oatmeal, bran and honey
  3. Add milk , water and cereal mixture to dry ingredients , combine well, add flour as needed .
  4. Knead for 8-10 minutes on floured surface
  5. Let rest for 10 minutes, form into loaves
  6. Let rise until doubled (about 30-60 mins)
  7. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
