Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat 1 tbsp. oil in a large saucepan or pot over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, stirring often.
  3. Remove beef.
  4. Add remaining oil and heat over medium heat.
  5. Add onion,bell pepper and garlic and cook until tender.
  6. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, salsa, water, garlic powder, chili power and cumin.
  7. Heat to a boil.
  8. Lower heat to low medium and return ground beef to pan.
  9. Add beans and burgundy
  10. .Cover and cook over low -medium heat for 30 minutes.
  11. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  12. Serve with favorite toppings or over rice.
