Broiled Tomatoes With Marjoram

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat broiler.
  2. Cut each tomato in half and arrange cut side up in a shallow baking dish. Insert a sliver of garlic into the center of each half tomato. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Sprinkle marjoram, or oregano, over each half. Sprinkle with olive oil.
  3. Broil 8 to 10 minutes, until bubbling and garlic starts to brown. Discard garlic and serve.
