Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Saute the onion, mushrooms, and water chestnuts in the butter.
  2. Allow the moisture in the pan to evaporate then add the soy sauce.
  3. Toss to coat vegetables.
  4. If desired, refrigerate at this point for up to three days.
  5. When ready to serve, defrost peas and re-heat mushroom mixture.
  6. Toss the peas to coat with mixture and heat until peas are cooked through.
  7. You can also microwave the peas and then toss with the mushrooms.
  8. Be careful not to overcook the peas.
