Vegtetarian Popeye Pie OAMC

Ingredients:

  • 1 (10 oz) bag frozen spinach
  • 1/4 cup onion
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup zucchini (optional) or 1/2 cup celery
  • 2 tbsp bisquick (optional, at serving time)

Directions:

  1. Thaw spinach and completely press out the liquid. Mix remaining ingredients together, then add spinach. Mix well. You can freeze at this point or continue:.
  2. Pour into greased 9 inch pie plate. Freeze. If serving tonight, you can add 2 Tablespoons flour or Bisquick if you wish. Otherwise: Bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Cut into wedges (which you can wrap and freeze).
  3. If cooking frozen uncooked pie, thaw completely before cooking.
