Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup uncooked rice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce

Directions:

  1. Combine turkey, rice, chopped onion, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Shape into 16 meatballs.
  3. Brown in oil.
  4. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over meatballs.
  5. Bring to a boil, reduce heat.
  6. Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
  7. Serve over rice.
