Spicy Potato Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1 - 26 oz jar spaghetti sauce
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp hot sauce (to taste - we use more cause we like it hot)

Directions:

  1. In a large pot brown ground beef, then drain.
  2. Add potatoes, onion, and tomato sauce.
  3. Stir in water, salt, pepper, thyme and hot sauce.
  4. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender and soup has thickened.
