Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup onion, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • dash pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • dash paprika

Directions:

  1. Preheat ovento 375F
  2. Prepare a casserole dish with a light coat of veg oil
  3. Place a layer of potatoes in the bottom of the dish
  4. Sprinkle with some onion
  5. Sprinkle with flour, salt, pepper
  6. Dot with butter
  7. Repeat until all ingredients are used, ending with butter
  8. Pour hot milk carefully over all
  9. Top with paprika
  10. Bake covered for 45 min
  11. Uncoverand bake a further 15 minutes
  12. You can add cooked, crumbled bacon or sliced/cubed/shredded ham in the layersfo make a main dish
  13. You can double/triple/quadruple the recipe to increase serving portions
