Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Fill half a pot with water and let it boil.
  2. Peel the ginger, cut it into slices, and add it to the water.
  3. Add bay leaves, cardamom, salt and black pepper to the water as well.
  4. Clean the salmon fillet and leave the skin on it.
  5. When the water has boiled add the salmon and let it cook for 5min.
  6. Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes, also peel the onion and cut it in half then in slants.
  7. After the salmon is cooked remove it and transfer it to a plate.
  8. With a fork remove the salmon meat from it's skin and slice into pieces, then put it back into the soup.
  9. Add the potato cubes and onions into the soup and let them cook for 20min (green chili can be added if desired).
  10. Wash fresh dill and chop it finely.
  11. When the vegetables are ready add the dill and mix.
  12. Served alone or with toasted bread with butter.
