Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Saute chopped onions and peppers and celery in oil in LARGE stock pot; add garlic;
  2. Add all beans (do not drain), soup, and tomatoes with all their juices, stirring to combine well;
  3. Add water or stock to desired consistency;
  4. Add lemon juice, spices, and hot sauce;
  5. Simmer for one and a half hours;
  6. Add cubed ham and simmer for another 30 minutes;
  7. Remove ham bone and bay leaves before serving.
