Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cook bacon over medium high heat until crisp.
  2. Remove to paper towels; set aside.
  3. Add onion and garlic to drippings.
  4. Cook and stir for 3 minutes.
  5. Add beans, broth, water, 3/4 cup picante sauce, salt and oregano.
  6. Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
  7. Ladle into soup bowls; dollop with sour cream.
  8. Sprinkle with bacon.
  9. Serve with crackers or tortilla chips.
