Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Remove hulls from strawberries; wash berries under cool water. In a skillet melt butter. Add sugar and stir constantly until it's caramel in color.
  2. Add orange juice and strawberries, simmering for a few minutes. Add the cognac or brandy, and allow the alcohol to cook off. Add pepper.
  3. To serve, place a scoop of ice cream in a bowl, and spoon berries on top.
