Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 2 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Remove seeds and 1/2 of rind from orange.
  2. Grind or chop orange and raisins together.
  3. Sift dry ingredients.
  4. Cream sugar and butter.
  5. Milk can be sweet or sour.
  6. Add eggs, milk, orange and raisin mixture.
  7. Stir in flour mixture.
  8. Bake 350 for 30 minutes in a 9x13 or in layer pans.
  9. Add a bit of orange peel to white icing or serve plain with ice cream or whipping cream.
