Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In bowl combine ground meet, salt and d ginger.
  2. Shape into 8 1/4 inch patties.
  3. Combine sprouts, chestnuts, onion and soy sauce.
  4. Toss together lightly.
  5. Place about 2 tablespoons mixture on top of each of 4 patties to within 1/2 inch of edge.
  6. Top with remaining patties.
  7. Seal edges
  8. Place patties on rack on unheated broiler.
  9. Broil 3 inches from heat turning once.
  10. For beef allow about 10 minutes total cooking time for medium, more for well.
  11. For pork broil 12-15 minutes or until well done.
  12. Serve on buns or rolls.
