Ingredients:

  • 3 cups lime juice
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 4 medium-size hot red peppers

Directions:

  1. Combine lime juice and salt in a clear glass jar, stirring until salt dissolves. Add peppers; cover and let sit in the sunshine 2 days. Remove and discard peppers; bottle sauce. Refrigerate. Serve with baked, broiled, or fried fish.
  2. Note: Old Sour is highly concentrated and should be used sparingly.
