Margie's Kielbasa and Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp sweet relish
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tbsp mustard

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients but kielbasa.
  2. Cut kielbasa into chunks and stir into sauce.
  3. Let marinate overnight.
  4. Heat in crockpot for 6-7 hours; on stove for 1/2 hour or more; or in oven for 30 minutes at 325 or 350.
  5. Serve with toothpicks, or crusty rolls.
  6. This reheats and freezes well.
  7. Cocktail franks and smoky sausages are also good in this sauce.
  8. The longer they sit, the better they taste!
