Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 & 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup agave or honey
  • 7 & 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup flax seed

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Dissolve brown sugar and salt in water and agave in pan on medium-low heat on stove. While warming the solution mix all other dry ingredients, except fruit, in large bowl. Add sugar solution to dry ingredients and mix well. Pour mixture into shallow pans making sure to not make the mixture too thick (~1/2 inch at most). Place mixture in oven at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. At the end of 8 minutes remove mixture and stir in the fruit (I put about 1/2 a cup for each pan in the oven). Place in oven for another 8 minutes. Check granola at the end of 8 minutes to see if it dry enough for you.
