Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. 1. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add honey and mix well.
  2. 2. Mix wheat flour, salt, oil and butter until its a stiff dough.
  3. 3. Add all purpose flour one cup at a time.
  4. 4. Knead dough on floured counter for 15 minutes.
  5. 5. When it becomes elastic, make a ball and place in an oiled bowl. Cover with warm, damp cloth and allow to rise for about 45 minutes.
  6. 6. Punch dough down and cut in half to make 2 loaves.
  7. 7. Place each half in a greased loaf pan and allow to rise till their 1 about the top rim of the pan.
  8. 8. Place in oven at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
  9. 9. After the bread is done, allow to sit in pan for 15 minutes before taking bread out of pan.
  10. NOTE: Remember this recipe is for 2 loaves. Cut everything in half if planning to use bread machine.
