German Cucumber Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup wite sugar
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 tsp salt (optional)

Directions:

  1. In a large serving bowl, combine cucumbers, onions and dill.
  2. In medium sized bowl, combine vinegar, sugar, salt and water.
  3. Stir well unitl the sugar desolves.
  4. Pour the liquid mixture over the cucumber mixture.
  5. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
  6. Marinating longer will meld the flavors.
