Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 tbsp. butter

Directions:

  1. Mix flour, sugar and salt together in saucepan. Add egg yolks, coconut and 1/2 cup milk. Stir well. Gradually add the remaining milk and cook on medium heat; stiring constantly until mixture becomes thick.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and butter. Pour into baked pie crust and top with meringue.
