Cheesy Potato and Onion Casserole

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees (Gas Mark 5).
  2. Peel and slice the onions.
  3. Slice the potatoes.
  4. Skin and slice the tomatoes.
  5. Place all in layers in a greased baking dish, seasoning and scattering herbs between layers.
  6. Dot with margarine.
  7. Cover and cook in oven for 50-60 minutes, until tender.
  8. Make up the cheese sauce.
  9. Remove the dish from oven and pour over the sauce, return to the oven for a further 15 minutes until golden.
