Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In large heavy skillet heat butter and oil over medium low heat.
  2. Add onions, thyme, salt and pepper then sauté slowly 15 minutes stirring occasionally.
  3. Add brown sugar and 2 tablespoons lemon juice then sauté 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in remaining tablespoon lemon juice and continue cooking 5 minutes.
