Candied Canned Yams With Marshmallows

Ingredients:

  • 2 (1 lb) cans yams
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Drain yams saving 3/4 cup of the syrup.
  2. Combine syrup, butter, raisins, cinnamon and marshmallows.
  3. Heat over medium stirring till marshmallows melt.
  4. Add yams and stir.
  5. Pour mixture into casserole dish.
  6. Bake at 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
  7. Top with some extra mini marshmallows and bake additional 10 minutes til browned.
