Black Eyed Peas & Rice with Ham

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup white rice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 lb ham
  • 8 1/2 oz black eyed peas

Directions:

  1. Mix rice and water
  2. Bring to boil
  3. Lower temp to lowest
  4. Add peas (fresh or canned)
  5. Add ham (chunked)
  6. Cook covered for 45 min
  7. Salt to taste
