Baked Potato Soup

Ingredients:

  • 12 slices of bacon
  • 1 (8 oz.) container of sour cream
  • 2/3 cup. of butter
  • 2/3 cup. of all-purpose flour
  • 6 cup. of milk
  • 3/4 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ofground black pepper

Directions:

  1. First bake potatoes for around an hour at 400 degrees F.
  2. Now you want to spoon out the inside of the potatoes and set this aside.
  3. You can reserve skins or throw them out.
  4. Now you want to make a roux in a skillet with metled butter adding flour.
  5. Let this cook for around a minute, and add milk, stirring this.
  6. Now you want to bring your flame to medium letting the soup get thick.
  7. Next you can add the potatoes, green onions, salt pepper, bacon, and cheese.
  8. You want to make sure and mix this well.
  9. Just before serving, add some sour cream!
  10. Ladle into bowls!
