  1. In a medium skillet over low heat melt butter. Crush ramen noodles in the package, then add to melted butter. Add almonds and sesame seeds. Cook until light brown. Remove from heat, drain off butter and cool. When cool store covered in plastic container.
  2. For dressing-in a small saucepan bring vinegar, vegetable oil, ramen noodle flavoring and sugar to a boil for one minute. Cool and add soy sauce.
  3. Just before serving in a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, 50/50 salad mix and chopped green onions, and drained mandarin oranges. Add 2-3 tablespoons of dressing and crunchy mix. Toss all together in large bowl. Reserve crunchy mix and extra dressing for others to add.
