  1. SIMMER all ingredients until soft.
  2. Press through sieve, season with salt and pepper.
  3. Fill jars to within 1/2 inch of top.
  4. Put on cap, screw band firmly tight.
  5. Process in Boiling Water Bath 45 minutes.
