Ingredients:

  • 1 cup, sugar
  • 1 cup, flour
  • 1 cup, coconut
  • 2 tbsp. syrup
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 stick butter or margarine

Directions:

  1. Melt margerine and add sugar.
  2. Stir in baking soda until frothy.
  3. Mix dry ingredients and add to syrup mixture until
  4. It is a crumbly consistancy.
  5. Press into a greased pan 1 inch deep.
  6. Bake at 325° for 20minutes.
  7. Cut into squares while still hot.
