Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Saute onions in butter.
  2. Whisk together eggs, milk, and basil.
  3. Pour egg mixture into pan with onions (or melt butter in a different pan then add egg mixture, ham, and onions - sometimes the original pan will stick).
  4. Cook on low.
  5. When omelet is beginning to set, pick up an edge and let the rest of the egg flow under - or turn entire omelet over.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese over omelet then fold omelet in half. May turn heat off and let sit till cheese is melted.
  7. Sprinkle paprika on top of omelet when served.
