Spicy Butter Thins

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1 egg

Directions:

  1. In large saucepan, melt 2/3 cup butterscotch chips and butter over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add everything else except peanuts. Blend well.
  2. Spread in a well-greased 15x10 jelly roll pan. Sprinkle with remaining 1/3 cup butterscotch chips and peanuts.
  3. Bake at 300 for 20 - 25 minutes. Cool; cut into bars.
