Spiced Bananas with Rum sauce

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cut bananas in half crosswise then lengthwise and set aside.
  2. Melt butter ina skillet over medium high heat.
  3. Add brown sugar, apple juice concentrate, vanilla, cinnamon, and allspice and cook for 30 seconds.
  4. Add banana pieces and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Turn bananas pieces over and cook an additional minute.
  6. Heat rum in saucepan.
  7. Pour over banana mixture.
  8. If desired, ignite run with a long match, let flames die down.
  9. Stir gently.
  10. Arrange 4 banana pieces on each of 2 dessert plates; spoon sauce over pieces and top each with 1/2 cup ice cream or frozen yogurt.
  11. Serve immediately.
