Ingredients:

  • 2 -3 lbs green beans
  • 1 lb bacon
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cups vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup sugar

Directions:

  1. Boil green beans until done.
  2. Drain off water.
  3. Brown bacon until crisp and crumble it.
  4. Place it in grease.
  5. Add 1/2 cup of flour into the bacon and grease.
  6. Mix together until moist.
  7. Add 1 1/2 cup vinegar.
  8. Add 1/2 cup water.
  9. Add 1/3 cup sugar.
  10. Taste to make sure it is seasoned right. You may have.
  11. To add more vinegar or sugar.
  12. Pour over the cooked green beans and enjoy.
