  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Cut ham into serving size pieces; brown lightly on both sides in skillet.
  3. Stir flour into fat in skillet and add soup.
  4. Gradually add milk and heat to boiling; stir constantly.
  5. In 2-qt.
  6. Casserole arrange layers of ham, potatoes, carrots and onion until all are used, sprinkling salt and pepper lightly on the vegetables.
  7. Pour on soup and milk mixture.
  8. Cover and bake 1 hour.
  9. Remove cover and bake 15 minutes more; or until potatoes are tender.
