Salami and Swiss Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 lbs ground chuck
  • 1 egg (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp pepper
  • 4 slices salami
  • 4 slices swiss cheese
  • mustard (optional)
  • mayonnaise (optional)
  • ketchup (optional)
  • tomato , slices (optional)
  • onion , slices (optional)
  • pickle , slices (optional)

Directions:

  1. Mix ground chuck with egg, worcestershire, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form into 4 or 5 patties about 1/2 inch thick, and 4 inches in diameter.
  3. Grill 5-6 minutes on each side, or 4-5 minutes in a skillet.
  4. Toast 4 buns and spread with mayonnaise, ketchupor mustard if desired.
