Ingredients:

  • 25 g butter
  • 500 g bread mix
  • oil
  • 125 g cheese
  • 75 g ham
  • 50 g pepperoni

Directions:

  1. Rub the butter into the bread mix until it resembles breadcrumbs. Add 350ml slightly warm water and mix to make a dough. Knead on a floured surface for 5 minutes. Shape into a ball, cover with clingfilm and rest for 5 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6. Grease a 23x32cm tin and line the base with baking paper. Knead the dough for another 5 minutes. Roll out to a rectangle 26x36cm in size.
  3. Spread with the topper, then add the cheese and meats. Deseed and chop the pepper and sprinkle over. Roll up from the long side like a Swiss roll and cut into 3cm slices. Arrange in the tin. Cover with lightly greased clingfilm and leave in a warm spot for 30 minutes until puffed up. Remove the clingfilm and bake for 25 minutes.
  4. Cool on a wire rack. To serve, tear into individual buns.
