Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1-1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts of your choice

Directions:

  1. Heat the oven to 350°.
  2. In a bowl, beat sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, egg and vanilla on medium speed until smooth.
  3. Stir in apple and nuts.
  4. Pour into a greased 9-inch pie pan.
  5. Bake until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
  6. Cut into wedges and serve warm.
