Oven Cheese Fondue

Ingredients:

  • 10 slices white bread
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp of chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp pepper (or to taste)
  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg ( just a dash)
  • 3 tbsp finely chopped onions
  • 2 tsp finely chopped garlic cloves

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 325º.
  2. Remove crusts from bread, cut into cubes.
  3. Beat eggs, milk, and seasonings with beater.
  4. Stir in bread cubes, cheese andon onion,and garlic. Pour into ungreased baking dish .
  5. Bake uncovered for 1 hour or til center is set. Serve immediately.
