My Favorite Cornbread

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp soda
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 cup oil

Directions:

  1. Mix sugar, eggs, and buttermilk in mixing bowl
  2. Mix well
  3. Add dry ingredients and mix well
  4. Add oil and mix well
  5. Pour into greased 9x13 baking pan
  6. Bake for 25-30 min in preheated oven at 400 degrees.
  7. Use toothpick to test for doneness.
