Low-Fat Strawberries and Almond Cream

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Wash strawberries and cut off tops.
  2. Cut a deep X in the top of each berry without cutting through the bottom.
  3. Spread each strawberry apart.
  4. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk milk and pudding for two minutes.
  5. Fold in the whipped topping and almond extract.
  6. Fill a decorating bag with pudding mixture and pipe into each strawberry.
  7. I usually fill this right before serving.
  8. Don't let them in the refrigerator to long.
  9. Hint: It is best to chill the pudding mixture before filling the strawberries.
  10. The warm air causes mixture to become to soft.
